Kinja'd!!!

I'd put this a little higher on the list.

The 330 American is amazing. *drools*

No... It's not better than anything on that list, so it stays put lol

Lack of Ferrari 250GT Lusso on this list (much less at #1) is grounds for an immediate disqualification.

I'm honestly shocked I forgot that, it's one of my all time favorites.

I don't hate it, but it's not my favorite. They look so much better in person though, they really really do.

Not a V12 Grand Tourer. It's a mid-engined V8.

I'm trying to focus on your list here but I can't contain myself. Brain is too fuzzy because of thew new spider!

I've been reading rumors about this car on FChat for 6 months. Everyone was arguing over whether it would be made or not, if so how many would be made, what it would be called, whether it would look good with a stripe, etc.

It's just the perfect road car to me. I know it seems silly to like track versions of convertibles. But I like putting the top down when driving on public roads. Makes it easier to hear dat sweet engine. And the performance difference on public roads is so miniscule. You can't even use the full potential of a standard 348 on public roads because the speed limits are so low...

In a perfect world we would both have the coupe and spider version of this car!

Kinja'd!!! PushToStart > Manuél Ferrari
09/25/2014 at 15:59

Kinja'd!!!1

The only thing with the convertible is the added weight, which kind of sucks when you think about how much effort they spent trying to make the car as light as it is.

But on the other hand... THAT NOISE

Kinja'd!!! Manuél Ferrari > PushToStart
09/25/2014 at 16:04

Kinja'd!!!0

True but you could also look at it the other way - it's still lighter than the standard 458 Spider. The raced out version is the only way to get a spider that doesn't lose much versus the standard 458 coupe.

It might not be as light as the Speciale coupe but it's still pretty light for a spider!

Kinja'd!!! PushToStart > Manuél Ferrari
09/25/2014 at 16:23

Kinja'd!!!1

This is true.

Although another drawback to the spider is that you can't see this sexy piece of art.

lol, if I had the means to have that car, I'd keep it lol

And THAT would've been a fucking fantastic investment car... Prices were relatively low ~10 or so years ago, but they shot up in the past few years.

Ha, my dad almost picked one up when they were cheaper, but decided not to... Oh well, these things are hard to predict.

09/26/2014 at 11:07

Kinja'd!!!0

no way! Wow. My dad never even thought to buy classic Ferraris. He wasted money on dumb cars

This proves something : whenever you have a chance to buy a classic Ferrari at a good price you should do it!

Kinja'd!!! PushToStart > Manuél Ferrari
09/26/2014 at 11:41

Kinja'd!!!1

Yeah, absolutely. Testarossas are going to be the next to absolutely skyrocket, people who got a clean one a year or so ago for 50-60K are going to be very happy in a couple years I think.

Kinja'd!!! Manuél Ferrari > PushToStart
09/26/2014 at 11:50

Kinja'd!!!0

The 512TR is where it's at. Already too expensive now. the people who got them a couple years ago are sitting pretty!

It's faster and more reliable than the TR. And the last mid-engine V12 Ferrari that wasn't a hypercar.

If I wasn't in love with the 16M I would be dreaming 512TR right now

Kinja'd!!! PushToStart > Manuél Ferrari
09/26/2014 at 11:57

Kinja'd!!!1

Out of those two, as much as I like the 16M/430 Scud, I'd still rather have a 512TR because gated manual and hnngggg dat noiseee.

Kinja'd!!! Manuél Ferrari > PushToStart
09/26/2014 at 12:07

Kinja'd!!!0

What I really want is BOTH! 16M for modern top down cruising. 512TR for gated shifter V12 wonderfulness

Kinja'd!!! PushToStart > Manuél Ferrari
09/26/2014 at 13:01

Kinja'd!!!0

You still want a 16M over a 458 Speciale A?

Kinja'd!!! Manuél Ferrari > PushToStart
09/26/2014 at 15:48

Kinja'd!!!0

I want the new one. But no amount of kidney selling and exotic loan using could make that price happen , haha

Kinja'd!!! PushToStart > Manuél Ferrari
09/26/2014 at 16:11

Kinja'd!!!1

Yeah, that's true... we need more internal organs to sell.

Kinja'd!!! Manuél Ferrari > PushToStart
09/27/2014 at 13:32

Kinja'd!!!0

The 16M I was supposed to see yesterday afternoon sold yesterday morning

I'm not meant to have a 16M or 458 Aperta. I'm not worthy ...

Kinja'd!!! PushToStart > Manuél Ferrari
09/27/2014 at 15:56

Kinja'd!!!1

ouch, that sucks lol

Then maybe just go for the happy medium, a 458 Spider!

Kinja'd!!! Manuél Ferrari > PushToStart
09/27/2014 at 16:18

Kinja'd!!!0

I consider that option all the time! But they are even more expensive. And they will depreciate much harder.

Kinja'd!!! PushToStart > Manuél Ferrari
09/27/2014 at 16:33

Kinja'd!!!1

they will, because they aren't so limited and special edition.

Just wait until you find the perfect one, which is either red with tan or black leather or blue with tan leather. Because I'm more of a traditional person, I'd have red but the blue is amazingly good looking also.

Kinja'd!!! Manuél Ferrari > PushToStart
09/27/2014 at 16:36

Kinja'd!!!0

I read that the 458 is The highest produced Ferrari of all time. Don't know if that's true because the TR was made for longer and sold 10,000 units.

I just found a red on tan F430 spider Manuél for a really nice price in Arizona. I talked to the dealer and he supposed to call me back. He's going to ask his manager if I can give them a refundable deposit today over the phone.

Unless that happens somebody else will buy it before I get back to SoCal next week
